How it works

Fix the thing that pays first.

Growth work usually fails the same way: everything gets a little attention, nothing gets finished, and the reporting says revenue is up while the bank account disagrees. The alternative is unglamorous. Decide what pays most, build it, measure it against margin, then take the next one.

The order of work

Map, build, measure.

  • Map

The numbers are read the way you bank them: cost of goods, delivery, fees and returns taken off before any campaign or page is called a success. That is what produces the Route Map.

  • Build in order

The biggest change first, one at a time where traffic allows. Everything is implemented here: theme, feed, flows and campaigns, so a decision never waits on a second supplier.

  • Measure against contribution

Every change reported as profit per visit and profit per order. Where a store is too small for a clean test, that is said out loud and the change is judged over the month.

What working together looks like

One call, a short written update, the work live on the store, and one view of the numbers that matter. No slide decks.

What you own: the code in your repository, the accounts in your name, the data in your Shopify and your analytics. Stop at any point and nothing stops working.

On contribution margin: gross margin stops at cost of goods. It leaves out delivery, fulfilment, payment fees and returns, and that is where the profit on a five-figure month actually goes. Every decision here is judged after those.

The honest limit

There is no floor of account managers here, and no five channels launched at once from next week. If that is what you need, it is a different kind of supplier, and we will say so rather than take the work.
