The Route Map
Discover your store's full potential.
Most stores have twenty things worth fixing and room for three. The Route Map is a paid review that says which three unlock the most on your store, and what each one could be worth.
What gets reviewed
Six things, on your numbers.
-
Where you are found
What ChatGPT says about you, what Google Shopping lists, what search still sends.
-
What a visit is worth
Conversion by device and by page, and where the drop-off actually happens.
-
What an order is worth
Basket makeup, delivery thresholds and the offers around them, against your margins.
-
What a customer is worth
Repeat rate, the gap between first and second order, and what email brings in today.
-
What one costs to win
What you pay to win a customer, set against what their order leaves after costs.
-
How the store is built
Page speed, theme and apps, and what they cost you in orders.
What you get
A written report, and a call to walk through it.
- Three changes, ranked. What to fix first, second and third on your store, and why in that order.
- A number against each one. What it could add, worked out from your own sales, margins and traffic, with the sums shown so you can check them.
- How long each takes to build, in days, so you can decide what to hand over and what to do yourself.
- A 45-minute call to walk through it, and the report to keep whether or not we work together.
What happens after
You own the document either way. If a change is worth making and you would rather it was built for you, that is quoted separately. No obligation, no retainer attached.
Not for stores in their first few months, where the honest answer is usually more traffic before more optimisation. Say so in the form and we will point you to what is worth reading instead.
Priced once we have seen the store, and quoted before any work starts.

Questions we get asked
How much does it cost?
It depends on the size of the catalogue and how many channels are running, so it is quoted once we have seen the store, always before any work starts. If the store is too small for it to pay, we will say so.
How long does it take?
Ten working days from the point we have access, and a call in the same week to walk through it.
What do you need from me?
Read-only access to Shopify analytics, Google Analytics and the ad accounts, plus your cost of goods and delivery costs. No work on your side beyond that.
We already have an agency. Is this a problem?
No. The Route Map says what is worth fixing and what it is worth, whoever ends up building it. Much of it is work an existing agency can take on.
What if nothing is worth fixing?
Then the document says so, with the numbers behind it, and you have saved yourself a year of optimising something that was never the constraint.
Do I have to buy anything else?
No. There is no retainer attached and no obligation. If you want a change built, that is quoted separately and you decide.
